About Tehillah

Tehillah is a dedicated group of young men and women from Église Primitive de la Renaissance, brought together through the church’s youth ministry. We began our spiritual journey side by side as youth, growing in faith, fellowship, and service. Over the years, many of us have stepped into new seasons of life, married and raising families, yet our commitment to the work of the Lord has only deepened.

Among us are worship leaders, preachers, intercessors, and servants, each using their God-given gifts to edify the body of Christ. Though our roles may differ, we are united by one purpose: to glorify God through the ministry of song.

We have dedicated our lives to lifting up the name of Jesus through passionate, Spirit-led worship. Whether on stage or off, we carry the sound of praise with us, ministering not only through music but also through the way we live, love, and serve.

Tehillah is not just a singing group. It is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a family born of His presence, and a vessel through which His glory is revealed.

What Does “Tehillah” Mean?

Tehillah is a Hebrew word that means “praise”, specifically, a song of praise lifted to God.

It comes from the root word halal, which means to boast, celebrate, or shine. In Scripture, Tehillah represents more than just music; it is a heartfelt, spontaneous expression of worship that flows from deep within.

It emphasizes a vocal expression of adoration, often sung or declared in joy.

Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits the praises (tehillah) of His people, reminding us that when we praise, we create a space for His presence to dwell. As a worship group, our name reflects our desire to offer pure, Spirit-led praise that glorifies Jesus and draws others into His presence.

So, we call our group, Tehillah, we’re declaring that our mission is to create a dwelling place for God through true and powerful praise.

Our Vision

Our vision is to inspire and encourage people from all walks of life to sing, worship, and encounter Jesus Christ. We believe that worship is a powerful tool for healing, restoration, and breakthrough. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we seek to see hearts mended, the sick healed, and spiritual wounds restored as we lift up the name of Jesus in song. Our prayer is that every voice would be awakened to worship and that lives would be transformed through the power of God’s presence released through our praise.
